“Do you understand Japanese?”
Answers “no, i dont understand Japanese” in perfect Japanese
@Yo Jerry, Look at this sht ???
That’s like saying “No hablo español” to lol
@Itzel Montalvo
私の頭: やった!私は日本語がはなせます!
私: ヤイ!アイ クド スピーコ ジャパニス!
lmao yeah, but it is actually very useful. It implies you’re a very beginner, like learning how to say “I can’t speak Japanese”, in Japanese lol. It’s a good way to tell others you can’t speak their language. At least I find it better than speak other languages until they figure that out lol.
Maybe like this “Iie, wakattenai desu” I can’t write it in hiragana or kanji. ??
Arigatōguzaimas. It really helps me!
I am Japanese. I am delighted to have foreigners studying Japanese so much. It’s so cute that foreigners talk hard in Japanese, and everyone in Japan likes it. I will try my best to speak English.
日本語を勉強してくださる外国の方がたくさんいることに驚きと喜びを感じています。
I recently went to Japan two months ago for the first time and had watched so many videos like these in preparation. Thought I had everything to a T but when it came to speaking the right Japanese words quickly in response, I completely screw up the pronunciation or draw a blank and use gestures. I felt embarrassed when a cook brought out my order and when I remembered to say thanks, I ended up saying “Itakimasu” instead of “Itadakimasu”. They knew I was trying my best after laughing it off and I still ended up having a wonderful time, even with those issues. I guess it just taught me that I need to relax before speaking and to practice pronunciation aloud more often. ^_^’
the fact that my daughter understood most of these words from watching anime ?
She’s too funny I can’t concentrate lol
the silly!!!
笑う???
@Saya Benci Iklan Grab yes….very??….
She’s cute too
@Aizen Bankai lmaoo yes ? ?
I’ve been speaking Japanese for years and recently past the N4 test but it is amazing how many of the early beginner words you do forget when you don’t use them!
hello , conversation referee here. You are wrong. She said n4 you can have conversation in Japanese. The guy then says blah blah N4 isnt fluent. she says “yeah i never said it was fluent, but you can at least converse”. You lose 10 points. ganbatte
@ROKURO no. Look at his first comment. He said “N4 isn’t exactly fluent either.” That’s fine but then Ms.Jane here replied by saying N4 skills will help you converse with other people which the guy replied by saying “The ability to have a basic conversation isn’t fluency”. I wonder who’s missing the point.
@Azka Takebayashi Guy corrected her about something she didn’t say. She explained herself.
@ROKURO That would mean that she just repeated the guy’s comment which is kind of unnecessary, don’t you think?
@Azka Takebayashi She also said it’s not fluent
Dear Risa-san,
Thank you so much for your wonderful Japanese lessons.
They are very helpful.
Sound location technologies are a great idea for psychiatrists!
Could you make a more condensed version with each phrase only and repeat each a few times? Love the information for each phrase, but it would be nice to have a video with the phrases alone. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Love your videos!

In my Japanese classes they used “Hanasu” a lot for speaking, but when I went to Tokyo I had to learn that “Shaberu” (chat) is used more often
thanks ive uploaded that into my brain now. very useful. shaberu kurete arigatou
Thank you so much for these amazing videos and resources for free!!! We all appreciate the quality of all this material available for free! And Risa you’re absolutely adorable!!
You know Risa, it would be great for you to do this at an intermediate or even lower advanced level.
I’ve been here 23 years and generally have zero problems in daily life. But my Japanese never gets better—it just stays at the same intermediate level.
Any chance of a video like this?
Awesome, thank you 🙂
In the second video I would have found it helpful if the Japanese phrases were spoken as well as written, rather than just written!
Thanks!
